We are seeking a bright, self-driven Production Supervisor to work within the manufacturing unit and to assist the head of the department with the following qualifications:


·       Minimum 2-3 years experience in a Food manufacturing company preferably in chocolate.

·       English fluency mandatory

·       Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources)

·       Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise in all processes of chocolate and confectionery industry

·       Stocktaking and mass Balancing of the RM/PM/FG

·       Knowledge of safety, quality, productivity

·       Ability to create accountability and to lead by example

·       Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills

·       Computer literate 

·       Day shift and night shift rotations.


SCOPE OF WORK/RESPONSIBILITIES:


·       Manage and coordinate on a daily basis the plant operations including production, logistics, maintenance and in-process QA while ensuring compliance with labour, safety, environment, corporate policies and regulations

·       Mentor staff to ensure performance targets are being met

·       Define the product parameters to identify and qualify the product gaps, and product development, innovation and renovation projects

·       Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations as per the plan

·       Increase production, capacity utilization and flexibility while minimizing costs and maintaining current quality standards

·       Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time dispatch schedule

·       Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results

·       Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime

·       Commit to plant safety procedures

·       Address employees’ issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements
